Hossam Al Awad graduated from the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University in Egypt and has fifteen years of legal practice in the United Arab Emirates. He is familiar with the UAE's local legal system and judicial procedures and has worked with law firms, international companies, and in-house legal departments.

His experience includes company formation, shareholder agreements, corporate governance and compliance, as well as contentious and non-contentious matters. He has also handled legal issues involving fast-moving consumer goods companies, public joint stock companies, and government affairs, and has practical experience in litigation, international contracts, negotiations, and international arbitration.
